A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel—the engine of the rocket—is usually a used plastic soft drink bottle. The water is forced out by a pressurized gas, typically compressed air. It is an example of Newton’s third law of motion.

Water rocket workshop is specifically designed to provide the right knowledge to the aspiring Rocket Science. Water rockets can arouse and develop their curiosity, which can extend the horizon of their learning and experience beyond science. In the initial stage, children’s interest will focus on how far they can fly their rockets.
The duration of this workshop will be two consecutive days with six hours session each day, in a total of twelve hours properly divided into theory and hand on practical sessions. At the end of this workshop a competition will be organized among the participating students where each participating student will get Certificate of Participation and the Winners will get Certificate of Merit.
